Project Coordinator (Hourly) - Utica
STANDARD DUTIES:
Under the direction of a Senior Boiler Inspector, you would make scheduled regulatory safety inspections of high and low pressure boilers and boiler installations to ensure their safe operating condition and to enforce compliance with statutory provisions of the Labor Law and industrial rules relating to boiler operations. You would make inspections as the result of complaints or accidents. These inspections may require climbing through small openings, climbing on top of boilers and spending considerable time with the boiler.

Minimum Qualification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Either 1. an associate's or higher degree in engineering technology, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechanical technology AND two years of full-time commercial, residential, or military experience in boiler making, boiler installation or inspection, OR the operation and maintenance of high and/or low pressure boilers including all firing apparatus and control devices; Or 2. four years of full-time commercial, residential, or military experience in boiler making, boiler installation or inspection, OR the operation and maintenance of high and/or low pressure boilers including all firing apparatus and control devices. PHYSICAL/MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Your physical and medical condition will be evaluated to ensure that you are able to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The physical/medical standards include good physical condition and satisfactory hearing and vision. A medical examination will be required prior to appointment and you are responsible for payment of the clinical laboratory test fee.
