hr) We are seeking a Senior Tool and Die Maker in the Utica, NY area.
As a Senior Tool and Die Maker, you will coordinate the standard activities of the tool room such as work scheduling and implementing jobs and tasks.
Key Duties include :
Repairing and making parts for equipment Write complex programs for CNC machines Design and fabricate new or unique components in support of production needs Test new or changed machining techniques Perform bench repair operations and routine servicing Requirements include :
Associates Degree or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical trades 5
years machining experience; including machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsKnowledge of standard tool room practices Ability to read blueprints, drawing and schematic diagrams CAD/CAM and NC programming knowledge Ability to setup & operate manual/CNC mills, lathes and other machining & fabricating equipment This is an outstanding opportunity to join a very well respected and established employer.
