Upstate Caring Partners Upstate Caring Partners Utica, NY Utica, NY Full-time Full-time $90,000 - $100,000 a year $90,000 - $100,000 a year Pay $90,000 - $100,000 annually / $3,000 Sign-on Bonus The Director of Nursing will provide oversight and day-to-day management for the nursing team at Community Health & Behavioral Services (CHBS) Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
This position oversees the nursing supervisor and the nursing team.
Collaborates with CHBS CCBHC senior leadership and act as a liaison with medical providers to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiencies, quality standards of care, and coordinated behavioral and physical health care are all being met in accordance with all oversight agency and internal system guidelines.
Core Responsibilities Maintain a current and working knowledge of all applicable regulations for clinical, nursing, medical, and quality programming (CCBHC, OMH, and OASAS).
Review, analyze, and manage nursing programming, both programmatically and fiscally.
Oversees processes to determine regulatory bodies' and partnership's requirements and expectations.
Implement and ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and regulations of the agency and external regulatory bodies.
Champion physical health coordination of care for CCBHC, establish and maintain all applicable protocols.
Coordinate with medical providers to ensure patient care needs are met.
Gather and analyzes information and data in order to make process improvement and to facilitate leadership decisions.
Implement a continuous quality improvement process for the assigned services and administrative functions.
Provide proactive leadership in the development, support, and achievement of the program's strategic goals and work plans.
Facilitate and communicates decisions to key stakeholders collaboratively.
Work closely with clinical, medical, nursing, and operational leadership teams to ensure support and services are provided to clients and families efficiently.
Ensure opportunities for staff development and maintain a work environment conducive to performance excellence.
Volunteer and demonstrate good community citizenship.
Coach and mentor staff, foster effective relationships through role modeling expectations.
Assign work, monitor, and ensure daily operations of the nursing team are professional and effective.
Qualifications Licensed as Registered Nurse (RN) preferred or 5 years experience in nursing leadership.
Valid New York State license and current registration.
Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.
