To provide a safe, secure, therapeutic environment for children residing in The House of Good Shepherd programs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; some higher education preferred.
Current valid NYS driver's license with 1 year driving experience Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Supervise children in their daily routine in accordance with agency policy and procedures and program protocols; Participate in the development and implementation of ongoing activity programs for children in care; Maintain a safe, clean and homelike environment for children in care; Manage all behavioral problems in a manner that reflects the agency Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training and agency policy and procedures; Provide feedback regarding individualized treatment plans and implement these plans as defined by the child's primary therapist/treatment team; Regularly participate in staff meetings and supervision; Ensure completion of all written documentation as defined by program and agency policy and procedure; Ensure that all program and agency policies and procedures are followed; In the absence of the shift supervisor or other assigned staff, pass medication in accordance with physicians orders and record medications given according to agency guidelines and procedures; Participate in QI training and actively participate in the agency Quality Improvement Program; Successfully complete all required agency training as defined by program and agency policy; Other related tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor To provide a safe, secure, therapeutic environment for children residing in The House of Good Shepherd programs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
