Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Residential Services (VP) is primarily responsible for the development, implementation, and administrative oversight of residential programs that are provided by HGS.
The VP is a member of the Administrative Team and works closely with the Executive Team.
The VP while provides direct supervision to several department-level Directors.
The VP is primarily responsible for the financial management, growth, and expansion of the areas under his/her oversight.
Principal Assigned
Responsibilities:
Oversee the coordination, integration, and delivery of residential programming for HGS while ensuring that the expectations of funders, partners, constituents, clients, and other stakeholders are consistently met.
Expand the referral sources for residential programming.
Evaluate market forecasts and long-term trends, collect competitive intelligence, and facilitate business and programmatic model innovation.
Supervise program directors and supervisors as applicable while working closely with the Quality, Human Resources, and Training departments to develop their skills so that they can lead, manage, and motivate staff to provide high-quality work.
Provide guidance to direct reports about how to assess and address programmatic and performance challenges while guiding them to develop and execute plans to improve results.
Apply resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort, and provide regular feedback so that key staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills.
Establish annual departmental goals and objectives and track results against these goals.
Participate in the budget development process and maintain a high level of fiscal responsibility.
Respond to government and foundation requests for proposals and applications in partnership with Executive and Administrative staff, coordinate planning and activities necessary for development of model program designs in response to these requests.
Serve as liaison to key government agencies, not-for-profits, and other entities in the communities where we work and throughout New York State.
Represent the organization on committees and task forces, as well as at speaking engagements, conference panels and trainings.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
Experience working in a congregate care facility serving children.
Extensive leadership experience in a not-for-profit or human services organization.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
