The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at UTICA is currently seeking a Director of Maintenance.
DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE
Responsibilities:
Regular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performance.
Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities.
Schedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairs.
Provide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashion.
Maintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspections.
Ensure all maintenance work is in accordance with Local/State/Federal & OSHA standards.
Requirements Include:
Must have healthcare facility experience.
Must have ability to be on call for emergency situations.
Min.
high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality service.
Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office.
Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenance.
Skilled nursing facility experience, a plus.
Supervisory experience in maintenance preferably in LTC settings.
Ability to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situations.
Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
Knowledge of requirements of DOH, CMS, Life Safety Code We offer the Following:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
