To perform the basic functions of a Process Operator the Process Operator I must be able to read, write and understand English.
Must be able to read measurements and package materials instructions.
A Process Operator I must be able to follow directions, set up packaging and operate a chop saw and heat gun.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Expedite the construction of all required packaging for the days production.
Verify that product kitted and produced is accurately recorded on batch ticket.
Inspect packaging for contamination prior to fill downs and/or pouring.
Process fill down orders that do not require respiratory protection.
Process drum off orders that do not require respiratory protection.
Accurately read and document tape, micrometer, and caliper measurements.
Maintain accurate records.
Ability to safely and efficiently operate a chop saw and heat gun.
Maintain clean and organized environment to ensure a safe work area.
Understand and follow the processes as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Manual, and the Quality Policy.
Attend and complete initial Safety Training Program.
Follow all applicable ISO 9001:
2015 procedures, cGMP's, and work instructions to ensure compliance with the documented Quality System.
Other duties and/or projects as may be assigned by Management.
MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal Work directly with other production personnel, Production Managers and Operation Director.
Work with PIC & Corporate administrative personnel when required.
External None ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Physical Functions:
Individual must be able to lift 45 to 50 pounds approximately 50 to 100 times per day.
Individual must be able to lift 10 to 50 pounds approximately 50 times per day with additional lifting of lighter weights throughout the day.
Lifting would include high lifting which means raising or lowering of bags or pails ranging up to 50 pounds above waist and shoulder level in a vertical direction and low lifting which means raising or lowering containers of about 50 pounds up to waist level in a vertical direction.
Work would also include twisting at the waist, stooping crouching and bending the body forward at the waist.
Daily duties would also include pushing (Sweeping) and reaching above their heads.
Individual must be able to operate a pallet jack.
All work must be done by a person capable of working on their feet, walking, and moving about for a full 8-hour day.
Individual must be able to work in environments varying in temperatures depending upon the climate of the area.
Mental Functions:
Individual must be able to follow manufacturing/packaging instructions to ensure consistent and quality production.
Individual must be diligent and competent in handling hazardous material products.
Individual must be able read and write in English.
Employees in this role must be able to count and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Employees in this role must be able to read and operate inspection and measurement equipment.
Individual must be able to understand the customary documentation utilized in this position such as Batch Tickets, labels, safety data sheets (SDS) KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS The Process Operator Level I position requires an awareness of the Company's established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures as they relate to employment, safety and health, ISO 9001, and housekeeping.
The jobholder must have basic product knowledge and be proficient in all the manufacturing, packaging, and procedures.
The jobholder must also possess the ability to operate all required equipment and processes.
Education and/or Experience - Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Language Skills - Must possess the ability to read and write in the English language.
Mathematical Skills - Basic math skills are required (e.
g.
, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Must be able to read a ruler, caliper, and micrometer.
Must follow all safety and quality rules in effect and meet all productivity requirements of the position.
