This a fast paced job, but you are part of a team trying to accomplish the same goals so communication and team work is key.
CPTM 2 is what follows CPTM 1.
All new hires start off as CPTM 1 until they have finished their training, this can take anywhere from 3-9 months.
Duties:
Cold Brew Production - Fulfilling cold brew needs - brewing/cleaning/testing Coffee Roasting - Operating roasting machine(s) to fulfill production needs Machine Operator - Food Service packaging machine Packing out coffee - Filling, sealing, counting, flavoring, grinding and labeling.
Assemble, pack, label and stage boxes for delivery to the warehouse.
Cleaning (i.
e.
sweeping/mopping, dusting, counters, bathroom, trash, general organization.
etc) Assist in innovating our craft and products with the production team.
Maintain, upkeep, and troubleshoot equipment, report issues when necessary.
Have mechanical aptitude for food grade manufacturing.
Always leave your station and the warehouse neat and organized:
sweeping, organizing, and cleaning the floor after each production run Support your team members as needed in keeping production running smoothly Successfully completed all requirements and testing as a CPTM1 to become CPTM2 (Training to become CPTM2 is provided as OTJ training while operating as CPTM1) Skills:
The ability to stand and walk(at least 8 hours per day and 5 days per week) The ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 30 pounds The ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps and uneven floor and/or surfaces as needed The ability to have close visual acuity to perform repetitive visual checking, counting, spotting small defects, determine accuracy of numbers and package A passion for coffee You are able to speak and read English Basic math and writing skills Preferably 1
year(s) in a fast-paced production environment
